Highlights

Clear CTA buttons for image uploader

Loree introduces clear CTA buttons for image uploader. Every time when we upload image through image uploader modal before we won’t have any identification which image is getting selected and applied in the editor.

Now, we have highlight the image which we’re selecting and then based on the option in the bottom of the image modal CANCEL or SET we can set the selected image to the editor.

Image upload modal, set button will be disabled at first when yet to select image

 

Once image is selected, set button will be enabled. Once we click SET image will be applied in the editor.

 

Once click SET, image will be set in Loree editor

 

(Note: Even double clicking on the image list will set the image in Loree editor.)

Enhancement on Loree Block Default Source Images

In Loree editor interface, the default plain background image sources in content blocks and special blocks has been enhanced with the “Loree Theme Background” as the default image source now.

Feature Implemented In:

  • Image or Image with Caption block.

  • Video or video with caption block.

  • Icons, Icons + Heading and Icons + Headings + Text block.

The above sources had been enhanced as shown in the following figures:

In the above images, UI of the older version uploader modal had been replaced with the new Loree themed background for the better user experience.

When the user, drag and drop any of the Image/Video/Icon (with caption) blocks the new Loree theme background will be displayed as the default background image source respectively.

Pagination for Module items

We have enhanced pagination for Module Items. In Loree, Earlier we have Pagination for Modules to cover more than 100 modules in a particular course.

As per the feedbacks/recommendations, Pagination for Modules items has been implemented from now on. In order to maximize the module capacity, pagination for module items has been reframed effectively.

By this feature, our users can fetch/edit entire list in the module (Even more than 100, for instance).

Impact:

  • Users can add n number of sub modules/module items

  • Fetching/Editing any module item can be performed.

Disabling dropdown in add-on module items when only one item available

When user adding pages in Canvas as a Module item, they can see the drop down on ‘Add Module item modal’.

The Pages menu dropdown has been disabled, Since we don’t have any other options to add module on (As the current menu doesn’t have any list following pages).

Further, by taking user simplicity the above feature has be disabled for now. As the future, Loree enhancement plan includes Adding up more options in the selection list.

Impact on Users:

  • Clarifies the existing working functionality of pages and can’t select other than that.

  • Addresses the future scope on the Adding Module item from different pages.

Future Enhancement:

In addition to the pages content type Loree has planned to add more Content Type in the Add Module item Modal in Future.

Upload button in video block should be more noticeable


Upload button in video modal (top right corner) is more noticeable now. We have enhanced the upload button to be noticeable compared with before with uniform format.

More options to sort images

Previously in Loree, In image uploader modal, the images can be defaultly sorted in last modified and no options in dropdown. Now, we have more sorting options in image uploader modal. They are, Name sort from A to Z and Z to A. By default it will be selected with Last modified, then we can sort images based on requirement.

Added 2 Col 90x10 and 2 Col 10x90

Loree already have more blocks under section blocks for making user need no-time to create them. For user friendly to build different pages, we have created and added new 2 col 90x10 and 2 col 10x90 under section blocks based on admin dashboard toggle ON/OFF in Roles & Features as like other blocks.

 

 

Added Banner with Text Block

Loree now have “Banner with Text block” for making banners with a text in it.

It will be more easy as like other components or blocks, Drag and drop the “Banner with Text block” under content block in designer mode. Banner with Inner text block’s availability will be based on the toggle ON/OFF in the admin dashboard Roles & Feature list.

 

Issues resolved in Loree v2002.4

LSD - 58 : Unable to update template name and category via admin dashboard

  • Defect Scenario : When an Admin wants to update the template name and category,  it didn't updates the name and category of the template.

  • This has been fixed and now admin can update template name and category.

LSD - 42 : Clear the console and network error when open CK Editor

  • Defect Scenario : When a user in Loree opens CK editor, network error occurs in console.

  • This has been fixed and console or network error won't appear.

LSD - 44:  Auditability logs while updating/editing template name and category

  • Defect Scenario : When an admin updates template name and category, auditability logs will not appear  

  • This has been fixed and admin can see the auditability logs when update template name and category.

(Note: We are still experiencing issue on Restoring the templates, which is flagged as known defects)

Release notes for Loree Admin Dashboard v4.1

Toggle ON/ OFF for 2 Col 90x10 and 2 Col 10x90

On Roles and Features list, we have added “2 Col 90x10 and 2 Col 10x90“ as a new feature. This will be listed under Fonts features list. By default, this feature will be toggle ON for all user roles. Admin has to click on “Save“ to update this changes for an organisation initially.

Toggling ON this feature will allow the users to access “2 Col 90x10 and 2 Col 10x90“ within Loree editor, others cannot see them in Loree editor.

On Roles and Features list, we have added “Banner with Inner Text“ as a new feature. This will be listed under Fonts features list. By default, this feature will be toggle ON for all user roles. Admin has to click on “Save“ to update this changes for an organisation initially.

Toggling ON this feature will allow the users to access “Banner with Inner Text“ within Loree editor, others cannot see them in Loree editor.

 

 

Important: Loree suggest the admins to save the roles and features setup on dashboard to reflect the changes.
