Highlights

Introducing Loree Interactive Contents

We are proudly saying that user can create interactive contents using Loree. The interactive contents are more convenient for students for learning. We have H5P Interactive contents which supports nearly 40+ interactive contents.

Now, Loree has its own Interactive management system where it allows the users to create and use FOUR types of Interactive contents.

Loree Interactive feature can be accessed by click on Loree Interactive Icon which is placed on Loree editor Interface menu bar.

 

The available types of interactives are:

  1. Accordion

  2. Tabs

  3. Button

  4. Multiple Choice

Create new Interactive Contents

Loree users can create new contents by click on “Create” on any of the available types. Once you Click on “Create” will navigate the users to respective content creation page, where user should provide the valid inputs.

Accordion: 

Reduce the amount of text presented to readers by using this responsive accordion. Readers decide which headlines to take a closer look at by expanding the title. Excellent for providing an overview with optional in-depth explanations. 

User can avail the following features by using Accordion.

  • Add title and text for each expandable item.

  • You can define whether you want to use H2, H3 or H4 tags for titles.

  • Rich formatting can be used for the expanded text.

Tab: 

This allows the users to create interactives using tabs. Tabs organize content across different screens, data sets, and other interactions.

The primary goal of tabs is to present users with a grouped view of related data - which in turn allows content builders to modularize groups of information in a compacted manner, saving valuable screen real estate.

Button:

Buttons allow users to take actions, and make choices, with a single tap. They are typically placed throughout the UI, in places like: Dialogs, Modal windows, Forms, Cards,Toolbars.

 

 Multiple Choice:

Multiple Choice questions can be an effective assesment tool. The learner is given immediate performance feedback. The Loree Interactive Multiple Choice questions can have a single or multiple correct options per question.

Once you’ve created the contents, by toggle ON “Active“ status will allow the users to access this content via LI Contents section on side panel.

 

Edit or Delete Loree Interactive contents

Loree user can edit or delete the existing interactive contents from their account. There are two ways they can do this.

  1. Edit or Delete from My Interactive section

  2. Edit or Delete by right click on LI block

On first option, user can navigate to “My Interactive“ section and they can choose Edit or Delete.

In Second option, user can navigate to LI contents section on side panel. By right click on LI block will allow the users to choose to Edit or Delete the Interactive contents. For more details click here

Enhancement on Contextual Help Icon navigation

Earlier, all the contextual help icons will be navigate the users to the individual features page. Let’s say when a user click on contextual help icon for “Content Blocks“ it will navigate the users to seperate confluence page.

Where only the content block details will be stored. If user wants to get another Loree function, they should navigate to Loree-End user Guide (Complete) or they have to click on contextual help icon for that particular feature.

From v2002.2 release, we enhanced our contextual help navigate to the respective feature which will be placed on Complete User Guide.

All the help icon hyperlinks were replaced to their respective position on complete user guide.

Issues resolved in Loree v2002.2

LUTS - 1285 : Fixed the responsive issue on page title when page title is lengthy

  • Defect Scenario: When the Canvas page title is lengthy and opening the Loree Editor Interface, it breaks the responsive on header.

  • When the responsive breaks, users are unable to access the menu bar icons

  • This issue has been fixed now and page title will show up to 75% of the width on navigation bar.

When hover on title will show the full name.

LUTS - 1292 : Copy and paste the contents inside the list element getting duplicated

  • Defect Scenario: When user copied the content from another list item or any external source and paste it into list items getting duplicated the contents..

  • This has been fixed and it will paste the contents with no duplication.

LUTS - 782 : Both Image and Video blocks do not have margins

  • Defect Scenario: When user uses Image or Video blocks within Loree editor, it doesn’t maintain the consistency on margin.

  • Margin top and bottom has been set to 10px to maintain the consistency within Loree blocks.

LUTS - 1291 : Remove the duplication on category when Add new category toggle OFF in Dashboard

  • Defect Scenario: When “Add new Category“ feature toggle OFF by an admin and user saving the custom block or template, it duplicated the first category in category dropdown list.

  • This issue has been fixed

LUTS -1178 : As a Dashboard admin, I am unable to update my profile image under profile settings

  • Defect Scenario: When an admin trying to update their profile image, it didn’t perform any action.

  • We fixed this issue and Dashboard users can upload the profile image.

Note: After upload, kindly refresh the page to get it reflected on menu bar.

LUTS - 1264 : When user save Dynamic table as custom blocks then by drag and drop it from custom blocks should not ask to provide row and column

  • Defect Scenario: When the user created a custom block or custom template using only dynamic table and drag and drop the saved block or template into editor, it’s asked the users to provide number of rows and number of columns.

  • We fixed this issue and now it won't ask the users to provide inputs other than section block dynamic tables.

LUTS - 1293 : Accessibility reports not shown automatically. After click on "Check Again" only shows the results

  • Defect Scenario: When user opens Loree accessibility checker, it doesn’t show the quick fix modal by default. User has to manually click to get the result.

  • We fixed this issue and now, it will show the Quick fix balloon modal by default.

LUTS - 834 : Contextual help icons not visible for blocks when language changed and toolbar disabled

  • Defect Scenario: When the toolbar option disappeared and user changes the language of editor interface, it hides contextual help icons.

  • We fixed this issue and contextual icons will not disappeared.

LUTS - 1284 : Fix the Enter and Shift+Enter issue on Firefox browser

  • Defect Scenario: In Firefox browser, Enter key didn’t perform as expected to create new paragraph text .

  • This issue has been fixed and Enter and Shift + Enter works properly.

Release notes for Loree Admin Dashboard v3.1

Enhanced on Roles and Features

Dashboard admin can toggle ON/OFF the Loree Interactive contents for user based on their canvas enrolment.

By toggling ON or OFF the Loree Interactive(Create) will allow or restrict the users to create new Loree Interactive contents. The same toggling ON or OFF the Loree Interactive(Use) will allow or restrict the users to use the existing created Loree Interactive contents.
