% support on Elements

We have now enhanced Loree to officially supports % on size for all the elements. Earlier we used to support % as a size format only for Container and Tables. Now we have added % sopport as a size to all the following elements.

Text
Divider
Special elements

Now we have the ability to apply the % value on element size. Height will be dynamically updated based on width size to maintain the aspect ratio. When a user selects % as 100% then the Full width will be automatically selected. When the % is updated as 80% then the Px will be changed to 80 and the Height will be automatically changed according to the Px. Users can choose from PX and % to change the size of an element.

We have now updated the Add Link model with a new user interface and more options. Now when we click on Add link option for a text or an image we will get a new add link modal with with three options. 1. Course links, 2. Web address, 3. Anchor. As default Course links will be selected.

1. Course links

As default Course links will be selected with Information selected in the select from option.

In the Select from the drop-down, we will have two options Information and Content

We can select any options from the dropdown and the list below will change accordingly.

For example: If we select Information.

and if we select Content.

If we select the information we will get all the folders and pages listed that are present in the course. If we select a page and click apply that page will be linked with the text or the image. If we select a folder then the folder will be opened and we can choose the content from the folder to link with the text or the image.

2. Web Address

We can add an external link address using this option and choose if we want to open the link in a new tab or the same tab.

3. Anchor

This option can be used to create an anchor within the same page. An anchor is nothing but redirecting to a particular section using when we click on an anchor within the same page. To create a new anchor it is mandatory to give a name to the anchor and it can be used later also to map again to the same section.

After updating the name click on create this will take us back to the same page where we have to select a row and drop the anchor to that row by clicking on the anchor icon shown below.

After clicking on the anchor, When we click on the text or image that is linked we will be redirected to the row on which we have dropped the anchor. After dropping the anchor don’t forget to save the page.

We also have the option to choose an existing anchor. When we select this option we will get all the anchors on that page in a drop-down to choose from and we can select any options from the existing anchors to redirect to the particular row.

Apply option will be enabled only when we give a name to the anchor or choose an existing anchor. If there is no anchor available we will get a message as no anchor found.

To remove Anchor links we just have to click on the linked text to the image then we will get the name of the link below we can click on (X) and remove the link.

Issue Fixes

Red Alert Message

As a Loree user, When we try to save a Row or Element and we use an already existing name or category name we get a message in red color as Name already exists or Category name already exists. When we start to edit the name and category name the Red alert message is still there even if we clear the name field. This issue is now resolved, Now when we try to use an already existing name of a category name we will get a message in red color as Name already exists or Category name already exists but when we start to edit the name the message will be removed and it will reflect only if we enter an already existing name again and click on save.

Remove `Border-radius` on the text element

When user selects any text element and validates the Border from the Design section, it shows Border-radius property to apply for the text element. The Border-radius is not applicable for text element and is only required for the image. Hence, we have removed the Border-radius property from the text element.

As a Loree user, When we are working on the Loree editor and navigating to the save modal for custom blocks and clicking choose category dropdown box sometimes it shows a blank list.

This issue is now resolved now will not see the blank list and the actual list will appear in one click.

Make our Embed Iframe contents responsive on all devices to avoid blank spaces

When the user is adding Iframe using Embed URL block, after embedding this into course pages it's not responsive on all devices.

Since it's contains a fixed width and height, the height shows blank space except for the video area and this gives a bad experience to the user who views the page content, especially on Mobile devices.

This issue is now resolved, Now when the user is adding Iframe using Embed URL block, after embedding this into course pages it will be responsive on all devices.

Full-width on Image with Text element

As a Loree user, When we use Image with text element and click on the image then click on size and then click on the Full-width option, the image is not taking the full width on the editor. This issue is now resolved, Now when we click on the full-width option the image with text will take the full width on the editor and if we remove the tick from the full-width option the image will be responsive to the height and width options.
