Highlights

Enhancement on Loree blocks for Simplified view

We enhanced our Loree block styles from the Blocks section. This includes some global changes too. In the last release, we have implement this enhancement on Designer view and now it has been enhanced for simplified view of Loree.

Below are the global changes we enhanced in the existing blocks:

Font-colour #000000 has been set as default on all the text blocks
Font-size :16px set as default on all paragraph text.
Font-weight:700 set for Header blocks
Margin and padding values for blocks has been modified
Column with Header blocks tag has been changed from <p> to <h3> by default.
Loree Default Header styles are:

Header1 - 32px

Header2 - 24px

Header3 - 20.8px

Header4 - 16px

Header5 - 12.8px

Header6 - 11.2px

Some additional changes done on other block contents:

Content Blocks:

Image with Caption:

The caption’s default value has been changed into “Insert Image Caption Here” .

Earlier it was “please double click on above image and add description here“

Video with Caption:

The caption’s default value for text has been changed into “Insert Video Caption Here“ instead of “Lorem ipsum“.

Text:

The outer <div> for this <p> tag has been removed. The existing <div> doesn’t contain any styles.

Now by drag and drop the Text block will add <paragraph> text in Editor Interface.

Headers:

When drag and drop the header block, it will have some additional styles.

Font-weight:700, colour:#000000 has been updated.

Default text will be “Insert Header Here“.

List Block:

By drag and drop the list block will have some additional style to make sure the contents looks good in the editor by default.

Earlier, there is no margin padding values added for list items.

Section Blocks:

All the columns margin left and right 16px has been modified to 10px as default. When user wants to change it, it can be editable in the style manager properties section.

Section Blocks with Headers:

Section Blocks with Header blocks default value of header has been changed.

Before:

<p> tag with “Insert Text Here “.

After:

<h3> tag with “Insert Header Here“

Special Blocks:

Icon + Heading + Text block has been enhanced by adding additional styles.

Before:

<p> tag with “Insert Text Here“.

After:

<h3> tag with “Insert Header Here“.

Grid Blocks:

Earlier, the grid blocks has empty cells when drags into editor. From this release, when user drags a Grid blocks into Editor, it will have default text “Insert Text Here“ on all the cells as a paragraph text.

Enhancement for Mobile Responsiveness on Section blocks

Loree using bootstrap classes to make the content responsive on all devices. Earlier, we experienced some issues on Canvas mobile application responsive. By overwriting the bootstrap class style on applying padding:10px, this issue occurs.

We removed the padding:10px on all the section block columns to support responsive content on Canvas mobile application.

Issues resolved in Loree v2001.5

LUTS - 329 : Enabling/ disabling menu bar icons on Loree Editor interface

When user enable/disable the menu bar icons on Loree editor, save, undo, redo, edit code icons were not disabled automatically. This issue has been fixed.

LUTS - 1079 : Fixes on Consistent button position and styles

In Loree pages view on home page, “Create Page“ icon has been renamed as “+Page“.
On Designer view of Loree, preview modal “Back to Editor“ icon has been replaced as “Exit Preview“

LUTS - 788: When text is center, the dot points(List icons) should follow

When user using list element and by aligning the text, the list icons will be followed by text.
Earlier, the list items only aligned as per the style.

LUTS - 833 : Unable to find the way to add/delete nested List on Ordered/ Unordered

When user drag and drop an Ordered/Unordered list as nested element in the list block, the toolbar icons were not functioning.
This issue has been fixed

LUTS - 786 : Fix the Horizontal scroll in quick links

When the user trying t add quick links within Loree editor, the Quick link section are not contains any horizontal scroll. Which is hides the contents from the section.
This issue has been fixed by applying text-wrap on section.

LUTS - 774 : Tablet view of Loree Editor Interface not same as Tablet device

When user selects the Loree Editor device selection as Tablet, it doesn’t mirror the tablet device view.

Note: In Safari browser for MacBook, tablet view fix doesn’t reflect.

LUTS - 764 : Global Templates images were broken

When the Dashboard admin changes any template state as “Global”, the images on template will be stored in Centralised location. Earlier, the image link is not fetching properly.
So that images got broken in tool. This has been fixed

LUTS - 782 : Both Image and Video blocks do not have margins

Both Image and Video blocks do not have margins, which means, when the blocks are added on a page, user cannot scroll down to add other blocks.
We set the editor padding-bottom as 30px default. This allows the users to scroll down the editor and easily you can drag and drop other blocks.

Important Note:

Loree suggest the users do not apply padding left and right on bootstrap class columns to make the content more responsive on mobile devices.

Release notes for Loree Admin Dashboard v1.2

Dashboard URL changes

The URL of an Admin Dashboard has been modified and new URL can be accessed hereafter. The reason for changing the URL is to maintain the consistency on Loree tool and Dashboard and the suggestions which we received from end users.

Existing URL: https://admin.loree.io

New URL: https://loree-admin.crystaldelta.net

Important: We have already migrated all the existing details to new URL. Existing user can access the new site using their existing credentials.

Implemented Change password fields for complexity

The Loree Dashboard password complexity has been enhanced. For now, this has been implemented on Change Password page.

The updated password complexity rules are:

Password must contain:

length of 8-10 characters
at least one CAPITAL letter
at least one small letter
at least one number
at least one special character (!, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *)

When user types the Confirm password as mismatch on New password, they will get an alert saying “Password mismatch”.

(Note: Loree suggest the existing users to change their dashboard account password based on new complexity rule)

Reset password

Now, the Dashboard users can raise a service ticket for resetting their password from the login page.

In the above screen, by click on “Loree Support” from login page you will be navigate to compose a mail. In which you can request to reset the account password. Once the ticket raised by user, you will get an email along with new password.

Note: Reset password from end user side not yet implemented. Once it’s done, user can simply reset their account password in their machine.
